DAEJEON — "Come to Yuseong in Daejeon and immerse yourself in the scent of chrysanthemums and sweet music on an autumn night."
Daejeon's Yuseong District said on the 12th that it will hold the 2026 Yuseong Chrysanthemum Festival at Yurim Park and along the Yuseong Stream through Nov. 1.
The 2026 Yuseong Chrysanthemum Concert, marking the opening of the 17th Yuseong Chrysanthemum Festival, will take place at Yurim Park at 6 p.m. on Oct. 17.
Singers Baek-A, Jung Joon-il and Lena Park will perform at the opening ceremony. After the opening performance, 1,500 drones — the largest display in the festival's history — will light up the night sky over Yurim Park to set the mood for the festival's launch.
During the festival, visitors can see chrysanthemums, autumn flowers and floral sculptures, along with programs including busking performances and a magic bubble show.
Jung Yong-rae, head of Yuseong District, said visitors would be able to take in the atmosphere of autumn on a stage where the scent of chrysanthemums meets beautiful melodies. "I hope you will feel the charm of autumn through the beautiful chrysanthemums and the various cultural events throughout the festival," he said.
