CAF president Patrice Motsepe says annual funding for each of Africa’s 54 football associations has risen from $200,000 to $700,000, with a target of $1 million.
🚨 𝐁𝐈𝐆 𝐖𝐈𝐍 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐀𝐅𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐍 𝐅𝐎𝐎𝐓𝐁𝐀𝐋𝐋! 🌍👏 CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe has reinforced his commitment to African football by increasing the annual financial support to each of the 54 Member Associations from US$200,000 to US$700,000! The increased funding is aimed at helping national federations strengthen their operations, improve financial stability and develop football across the continent. Credit to Dr Patrice Motsepe for recognising the financial challenges facing many African federations and taking steps to provide greater support. This is an important investment in the future of African football. Stronger federations mean better opportunities to develop local talent, improve football structures and grow the game across Africa. When national federations receive the support they need, African football has a stronger foundation to grow. #AfricanFootball #CAF #PatriceMotsepe
