The latest NFL International Series game got off to a wild start as tempers flared between the Philadelphia Eagles and Jacksonville Jaguars in London.
The Jaguars appeared to return the opening kickoff 91 yards for a touchdown, but the play was called back after multiple flags were thrown. A referee's hat was also tossed on the ground due to not having enough flags.
Referees huddled for several moments to determine what had happened in the wild start. While there were flags thrown for offensive and defensive penalties, the biggest story was the ejection of the Eagles' defensive linebacker Jeremiah Trotter Jr. and the Jaguars' defensive end Bryan Thomas Jr. for fighting at midfield.
The altercation brought initial confusion during NFL Network's coverage, since it occurred as cameras and the broadcast team were covering the kickoff return that was seemingly returned to the end zone.

A replay shows Trotter Jr. and Thomas Jr. fighting one another at the 50-yard line; it appears to be a toss or takedown, but it's unclear who initiated it.
Thomas Jr., a special teams player and backup player for Jacksonville, may have had the more egregious part of the fight.
He appeared to kick at Trotter Jr. during the altercation, although it was difficult to see everything that happened. Officials disqualified both players, sending them to their respective locker rooms.
Trotter was a significant ejection as a starter for the team's defense, and Philadelphia certainly needed him against an offense like Jacksonville's. Heading into this game, Trotter had 19 total tackles, including 14 solo tackles for the Eagles.
The Eagles came into the game looking to get back to their winning ways after dropping consecutive games to the Chicago Bears and Los Angeles Rams.
They already had multiple players out of the game due to injuries, including key players Saquon Barkley and DeVonta Smith.
Meanwhile, the Jaguars have been one of the hottest teams out of the gates, with a 3-1 start in the AFC, as they quickly took over their division lead.
While the game continued between the two sides at London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the possibility of further punishment looms after the incident.
