Barcelona star Lamine Yamal enjoyed himself on Tuesday night in the Champions League, putting on a show in a 4-1 win over Galatasaray in Turkey.
Ahead of the match, some old comments from Galatasaray’s Mario Lemina emerged which Yamal certainly hasn’t forgotten about.
Lemina was asked to pick between team-mate Leroy Sane and Yamal and replied: “Who is Lamine Yamal? I don’t know him. I know Sane.”
The Barcelona star has now responded with a post on Instagram, leading a carousel of pictures with an image of him holding the MVP award and the message: “He know me know?”
Eric Garcia also took aim at Lemina after the game, telling CBS Sports: “Yamal doesn’t need extra motivation and sometimes people give a little bit too much to him. They speak about him, they say they don’t know him, then the fans they start. And then you know he shows on the pitch how good he is.”
The Barca defender was asked who he was talking about and said with a laugh: “He knows, he will know!”
