Real life couple Jeff Hordley and Zoe Henry shared more Emmerdale scenes together this week.
Jeff and Zoe, known for their roles as Cain Dingle and Rhona Goskirk in the ITV soap, have been married since 2003. They have two children together called Violet and Stan.
Even though Jeff and Zoe have worked together on the ITV soap for 25 years, their first two-hander scene didn’t air until earlier this year.
With Rhona married to Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock), we often see her interacting with her husband’s family and occasionally chats to Cain, but she rarely interacts with just him.
That all changed a few months ago, when Jeff’s character Cain was forced to say an emotional goodbye to family dog, Monty.

After getting trapped in a shed fire that was started by Kyle Winchester (Huey Quinn), Monty was rushed to the vets, where Rhona works.
Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) later revealed to the family that Monty has cancer. Sadly, the pup’s health got worse, and Cain was forced to take him to the vets and have him put to sleep.
This was where Jeff and Zoe’s two-hander scene happened, with Cain saying a farewell to Monty as Rhona listened in the background.
This week, Jeff and Zoe were involved in more scenes together as Rhona attempted to warn Cain about Tom King’s (James Chase) release from prison.
After going through a similar ordeal when she discovered Pierce Harris was up for parole, Rhona was on hand to support Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper), but also told Cain that if Tom does come to the village once he’s out, he could be more dangerous than ever.
Jeff and Zoe sharing more scenes has come as a lovely surprise for fans.

Zoe’s Emmerdale character Rhona has had a quiet few months, as her family have been busy trying to move forward following the deaths of drug dealers Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths) and Ray Walters (Joe Absolom).
The mother and son duo subjected Rhona’s stepdaughter April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) to an ordeal that saw her deal drugs, and see older men who wanted to have sex with her. Celia was killed by Ray at the start of this year, while Ray himself was murdered by Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards) not long after.
Jeff’s alter-ego Cain has endured a dramatic and difficult first half of 2026. Amid the nightmare of Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) being wrongly accused of double murder and people trafficking, Cain was also diagnosed with prostate cancer.
He had an operation a couple of months ago, but has been told that the cancer has spread, and will need to undergo a course of radiotherapy.
