Another week, another two players have left The Traitors: New Blood. This show truly is the gift that keeps on giving… and murdering.
**Spoilers ahead for Season 1, Episode 6 of The Traitors: New Blood**
Now four weeks into the NBC spinoff of the Peacock phenomenon and this season’s Traitors — Joe Vanella, Tomica Adams, and Katie Fites — have managed to take out two more Faithfuls, this time by banishment and by murder in plain sight, which may or may not have gotten them caught. More on that later.
Sadly, while we love to see Alan Cumming smash a portrait and call for his cloaked lackeys to come and carry off a player in the game, it also comes with the realization that two more contestants that we’ve grown to love — one of whom came as a major surprise to two of the Traitors — will no longer be with us. Tis’ the plight of a reality competition lover.
So who got murdered during the wake? And who ended up getting banished at the roundtable? We’ve got the answers you need. Here’s a quick breakdown on the two players who exited The Traitors: New Blood in the new episode.
Who Was Murdered In The Traitors: New Blood Episode 6?
Since Episode 5 ended on a cliffhanger as the shortlisted players awaited learning their fate, we knew that it could only be one of a small crop of players, and unfortunately, that murdered player is Niyyah Hayes. In fact, during the living wake, Joe — who was positioned in the coffin next to her — confessed his sins of being a Traitor and shared that it was the apple she caught earlier in the day that doomed her to her fate.
On a positive note, it seems as though Victor Vollbrechthausen is sure that “FruitGate” — the term he has coined for his theory that the murder in plain sight involved apples and that Joe and Tomica are responsible — could lead to a Traitor being taken out in the next few roundtables. We’ll just have to wait and see.
Who Was Murdered In The Traitors: New Blood Episode 5?
The reason we say “next few roundtables” in the paragraph above is because Victor’s case did not present itself well enough this week to yield the banishment of a Traitor. Rather, it was the silver-tongued NYC lawyer, Michael Foote, who was booted out of the castle by his fellow Faithfuls. At the roundtable, Traitors and Faithful alike dissected Michael’s gameplay, intellect, and capability of being a Traitor, which resulted in him being sent packing, much to the shock and sadness of his fellow players.
Better luck next time, Faithfuls!
