Ahead of the 2027 elections, President Bola Tinubu has said the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council will not receive credit for an incomplete assignment.
Tinubu assured members of the council and other APC members that he would thank them when they deliver the votes needed for his victory and that of the party in 2027.
He spoke on Wednesday during the inauguration of the APC Presidential Campaign Council in Abuja.
According to Tinubu, “From local government to wards, all the party members, are you here? Are you ready? Are you afraid? Are you winning? Thank you very much, and I celebrate you, no doubt about that.
“Nigeria will continue to celebrate you, and you will see the joy of this victory. You will share in the joy; you won’t do it for nothing.
“I thank all of you for the last election, but no one gets credit for an incomplete assignment until you deliver the next election, until you deliver your wards, until you deliver the votes before we can say thank you.”
