Roma striker Donyell Malen has been handed a one-game ban after a straight red card in a Serie A match against Como on Sunday.
Malen is one of three Serie A players to receive a one-game ban after Round six. The Dutchman received a straight red card against Como for a reckless foul on the Azzurri left-back Kaiki.
Players and coaches suspended after Serie A Round 6: Malen, Spalletti, Pisacane and more
The Serie A Sports Judge has released his verdicts after the latest Serie A round, confirming that Malen has been suspended for one match following a “serious foul play.”

As expected, the Dutch forward has escaped a two-game suspension because his foul wasn’t deemed violent conduct, but rather a genuine attempt to win the ball back. He’ll miss the next Serie A game against Genoa but will be available against Napoli on October 24.
Atalanta midfielder Eljif Elmas and Monza defender Lorenzo Lucchesi have also received a one-game suspension after receiving straight red cards in the latest Serie A round.

Coaches Luciano Spalletti and Fabio Pisacane have also received a one-game ban after being sent off at the end of Cagliari-Juventus on Sunday.
The Sports Judge said Spalletti “adopted a provocative attitude towards the opposing team coach, creating tension between the members of the two benches,” while Pisacane “reacted to the opposing team coach’s provocative behaviour, fuelling tension between the members of the two benches.”
Spalletti won’t be on the bench for Juventus’ home game against Lazio on Sunday, while Pisacane will miss Cagliari’s away game at Monza next Monday.
