The 2026 college football season is now in full swing. But believe it or not, the start of college basketball season is less than two weeks away!
This Sunday, the USC women’s basketball team will play a preseason exhibition game against Cal at Galen Center. Tipoff is set for 2:00 p.m. Pacific time, and the game, officially titled “First Look”, will air on Big Ten Plus.
The matchup will mark the renewal of an old Pac-12 rivalry between the Trojans and the Golden Bears. In addition, USC head coach Lindsay Gottlieb will face off against the school where she served as the head coach from 2011-2019.
The preseason exhibition will mark an opportunity for USC fans to see the Women of Troy in action prior to the start of the regular season—which will tip off on November 2 against UNLV at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Tickets for the USC-Cal matchup can be purchased here.
