In the video filmed from what appears to be her Nairobi home, the creator known as 444 Diamond said the choice came down to careful research, especially since she moved with her children.
Why US TikToker relocated to Kenya
The TikToker was direct about her reasoning. She cited Kenya's relatively clean roads, access to safe water, low malaria risk and what she described as one of the best healthcare systems on the continent.
"Kenya has one of the best healthcare systems. Argue with your mama," she said confidently in the clip.
She also highlighted the personal safety she has experienced walking Nairobi's streets at any hour, noting that foreigners of all backgrounds move around the city without being harassed or pressured for money.
"As a foreign woman, I can literally walk the Kenyan streets any time of the day, and nobody's going to bother me," she said, adding that she regularly sees Chinese and white visitors doing the same without incident.
Her most colourful observation was that Kenya feels culturally closer to the United States than many expect.
She described Uber rides where drivers play Future and malls blasting Chris Brown, adding that the general pace and dress code of the city reminded her of home in a way she did not anticipate.
"I know a lot of people were getting mad at me before cause I said Kenya was the United States of Africa, but definitely they kind of remind me of us United States of American people," she said.
To cap off her love for the country, she revealed she has had Kenya tattooed on her body.

In another report, a US-based Kenyan TikToker shared a viral video warning his followers about increasingly aggressive enforcement tactics being utilised by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to track down and deport undocumented immigrants.
In the video, he outlined various methods, such as enhanced community surveillance and port-of-entry questioning, advising Kenyans living in the US to lay low.
The warning sparked widespread concern and anxiety within the Kenyan diaspora community, with many viewers sharing their fears and discussing the state of immigration in the country.
