Springfield, Mass.-based Baystate Health has named Thomas Scott president and COO of Baystate Medical Center in Springfield., effective Nov. 2.
Mr. Scott will oversee hospital operations and lead initiatives focused on clinical quality, employee engagement, operational efficiency and financial performance, according to an Oct. 23 health system news release shared with Becker’s.
He most recently served as president and CEO of Freehold, N.J.-based CentraState Healthcare System, where he led operational turnarounds, strategic expansions and growth in key service lines.
Mr. Scott brings more than two decades of healthcare leadership experience to the role.
