Rapper Nasty C has made no secret of his stadium dreams. Speaking at the Mahindra Fusion Fest at Curries Fountain Field in Durban, he told Durban Culture that filling Moses Mabhida Stadium is very much on his radar, and that the right backing could make it a reality sooner than fans might expect.
Sitting in a casual outdoor interview with a "Durban Culture" branded microphone and the Durban heat very much in the air, Nasty C was asked directly whether he sees a stadium headline show in his future. His answer was immediate.
"Yes, I'm definitely 1000% keen to do it. If some brands, like some sponsors, you know, popped out and said they wanted to support it, I would do it as soon as like next year," he said, adding, "I would love it. Yeah, that would be the best moment ever for me."
Nasty C and Tellaman's C's and C's
The conversation also touched on his joint project with Tellaman, the album Ts's and C's. The interviewer mentioned that "Liar Liar" and "As Planned" are currently among their favourites from the record, and Nasty C confirmed those tracks resonate with him too, noting they are also his son's favourites after the youngster was spotted reacting to them on TikTok.
When asked about exciting young talent he had encountered on the festival circuit, Nasty C was quick to name Tando Miki, pointing to her performance at the Fusion Fest as a highlight of his day. "I got to see her today at least perform, and that was great. That was awesome," he said.
