Sierra Leone international striker Musa Noah Kamara, popularly known as Musa Tombo, marked his return to Premier League football with a decisive late goal to hand Waterloo FC a 1-0 victory over Bullom Stars.
The match, played on Sunday, October 11, 2026, at the Approved School Field, saw Premier League debutants Waterloo FC secure their first three points of the 2026/27 Leone Rock Premier League season.
After a closely contested encounter, Kamara broke the deadlock in the 83rd minute, finding the back of the net to give the visitors a crucial lead.
The late strike sparked celebrations among Waterloo FC supporters, who turned out in numbers to cheer on the side nicknamed the “Fry Fish Boys”.
Bullom Stars had started brightly, enjoying a spell of possession during the opening 25 minutes. However, Waterloo FC remained organised and disciplined, absorbing the early pressure as both teams battled for control.
Chances came at both ends as the match progressed, but neither side could find a breakthrough until Kamara’s decisive intervention late in the second half.
Bullom Stars pushed for an equaliser in the closing minutes, but Waterloo FC held firm to preserve their advantage and claim all three points.
Kamara’s match-winning performance also earned him the Man of the Match award. The striker, a three-time league top scorer, once again demonstrated his ability to deliver in crucial moments.
The victory gives Waterloo FC a winning start to their first season in the country’s top-flight league, while Bullom Stars will look to recover in their next fixture.
