News of Geu’s graduation and professional induction was shared by KNUSTlive on Instagram on October 24, 2026.
The announcement celebrated his completion of his studies and his formal induction into the Allied Health Professions Council, the body responsible for the professional recognition and regulation of allied health practitioners in Ghana.
Geu studied medical imaging with a specialization in sonography, a field that uses ultrasound technology to produce images of structures inside the body. These images help healthcare professionals assess medical conditions and support diagnosis and patient monitoring.
His qualification represents the completion of a four-year academic journey at one of Ghana’s prominent universities as reported by YEN News.
What Geu’s induction means for his healthcare career
Geu’s induction into the Allied Health Professions Council marks his formal entry into the professional sonography field in Ghana, subject to the applicable professional requirements.
Sonographers use ultrasound equipment to obtain images that can help clinicians examine organs, tissues and other structures within the body. The information gathered can support the diagnosis and monitoring of a range of medical conditions.
The profession plays an important role in modern healthcare by providing medical teams with imaging information used in patient assessment and care.
For Geu, the milestone marks the transition from university training to greater professional responsibility in healthcare.
