BEIJING — The New Yalu River Bridge linking Dandong in China's Liaoning Province with Sinuiju in North Korea will open on the 15th, China's state-run Xinhua News Agency reported on the 14th. The bridge stretches 3,026 meters with a four-lane road (two lanes in each direction) and was completed in 2014 with China covering the entire construction cost. Its official opening has been delayed for 12 years because connecting roads and customs facilities on the North Korean side were not properly built.
