“Our classes are back. On Sunday, 25th October, we will be revising the 2026 KCSE Mathematics Papers 1 and 2,” Babu stated.
He encouraged candidates to take advantage of the online lessons, noting that the revision would focus on frequently tested areas to help them prepare more effectively for the examinations.
“The revision will cover key topics that are frequently tested to help students prepare better for their exams. Don’t miss out,” he added.
How long has Babu Owino conducted online KCSE revision classes?
The Embakasi East MP began offering online revision lessons in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, when lockdown restrictions disrupted normal learning and forced many students to study from home.
The initiative provided candidates with an alternative way to access revision materials and prepare for their national examinations.
His latest announcement comes as the 2026 KCSE examination period gets underway. According to the examination schedule, oral, practical and selected technical subject examinations are scheduled to run until October 30.
The main written examinations are scheduled to begin on Monday, November 2, and conclude on Friday, November 20.
What measures has govt announced for 2026 KCSE exams?
In a related development, the government has pledged to take measures to prevent disruptions to the national examinations, particularly amid forecasts of heavy rainfall.
On October 5, Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba said relevant government ministries and agencies would coordinate efforts to ensure the examination process proceeds smoothly.
“As we are all aware, the weatherman has warned us of impending El Niño rains. We must, therefore, put in place all appropriate measures to avert disruptions to the examination and assessment processes on account of the heavy rains anticipated,” Ogamba said.
The CS added that officers from relevant ministries and agencies would remain on standby to address challenges that could arise during the examination period.
