HEALTH SPECIALISTS: The trademarked Technogym Checkup has been awarded a special mention in Time’s Best Inventions 2026, the magazine’s annual recognition that celebrates the innovations shaping the future.
The assessment station was recognized for its role in advancing preventive health through AI-powered and data-driven personalization. It evaluates physical (body composition, flexibility, balance, cardio, strength) and cognitive parameters through AI and Technogym’s Wellness Age metric to provide customers with a comprehensive picture of their health status and a tailored training path. In fact, data are channeled into the fully connected Technogym Ecosystem, and serve as the foundation for the Precision Program — a personalized training plan powered by Technogym’s App AI Coach.
Technogym Checkup supports operators across fitness, health care, hospitality and corporate wellness environments to deliver more personalized and measurable experiences.
During Milan Design Week 2026, the fitness equipment brand celebrated 40 years of Unica, the compact home gym designed by founder, chairman and chief executive officer Nerio Alessandri. Curated by artist Felice Limosani, the exhibition showcased the Unica machine through images and videos featuring 40 influential personalities, such as tennis player Carlos Alcaraz, Formula 1 star Charles Leclerc and Moncler’s executive chairman Remo Ruffini, who’ve experienced and trained with it.
Also, Technogym was the official supplier of the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics and Paralympics, marking the 10th time it has been the official partner of the Games, from Sydney in 2000 to Paris in 2024.
