The next Barcelona match is upon us! The Blaugrana travel to Paris for a massive Champions League game against reigning back-to-back champions PSG, and Hansi Flick has called up the following 23 players for Tuesday’s clash:
Goalkeepers: 1. Joan Garcia, 13. Wojciech Szczesny, 25. Dominik Livakovic
Defenders: 2. João Cancelo, 3. Alejandro Balde, 5. Pau Cubarsí, 12. Xavi Espart, 18. Gerard Martín, 41. Álex Campos
Midfielders: 4. Brian Fariñas, 6. Gavi, 7. Fermín López, 8. Pedri, 16. Rodri, 20. Dani Olmo, 21. Frenkie de Jong, 22. Marc Bernal
Forwards: 9. Gabriel Jesus, 10. Lamine Yamal, 11. Raphinha, 14. Karim Adeyemi, 17. Anthony Gordon, 29. Hamza Abdelkarim
Flick is dealing a major defensive injury crisis for this one as Eric Garcia has been ruled out for the next 3-4 weeks with a quad injury and Jules Kounde cannot play due to an ankle injury, and they join Andreas Christensen (quad) and Roony Bardghji (knee) on the list of absentees for this one. Barça Atlètic center-back Álex Campos gets his debut call-up to help make up the numbers at the back.
Predicted starting XI (4-3-3):
Joan; Espart, Cubarsí, Martín, Cancelo; Fermín, Rodri, Pedri; Yamal, Raphinha, Gordon
The match kicks off at 9pm CET (Barcelona), 8pm BST/WAT (UK & Nigeria), 3pm ET, 12pm PT (USA), 12.30am IST (India, Wednesday), and you can join us to follow and comment all the action.
