Colombian singer Juanes has been confirmed as one of the artists who will perform live during the 27th edition of the Latin Grammy Awards, scheduled for Nov. 12, 2026, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The announcement, made by the Latin Recording Academy, brings together prominent figures in Latin music and adds another highlight to one of the most important ceremonies in the Spanish- and Portuguese-language music industry.
The Colombian artist’s participation coincides with his nomination for this year’s awards. Juanes is competing in the Song of the Year category with “Humano,” a track he shares with Mexican singer-songwriter Vivir Quintana. As a result, Juanes will take part in the ceremony both as a performer and as a contender for one of the evening’s major awards.
Juanes leads the lineup of artists performing live at the 2026 Latin Grammy Awards
The Latin Recording Academy has announced the first group of performers who will take part in the musical show at the 2026 Latin Grammy Awards. In addition to Juanes, the lineup features artists from different genres, generations and countries, bringing together pop, urban music, rock, alternative sounds and musical styles rooted in Latin American traditions.
The announced performers include Spanish singer Rosalia, Puerto Rican artist Daddy Yankee, Brazilian singer Anitta, Uruguayan musician Jorge Drexler, Chilean singer Mon Laferte and Mexican regional music star Carin Leon. The lineup also features Puerto Rican singer Kany Garcia, Mexican artists Silvana Estrada and Vivir Quintana, Venezuelan singer Elena Rose, Venezuelan group Rawayana, Mexican singer Xavi and regional Mexican band Banda Los Recoditos.
The diversity of the confirmed performers points to a ceremony that will bring together different strands of contemporary Latin music. While some artists have established careers on international stages, others represent musical projects that have gained visibility in recent years, expanding the range of sounds featured at the awards.
For Juanes, the performance represents another opportunity to bring his music to an international audience. The Colombian musician has built a career combining Spanish-language rock with elements of pop and traditional Latin American sounds, a formula that has kept him on international stages and at major music awards for decades.
Colombian artists nominated for the Latin Grammys
Juanes’s participation is particularly significant for Colombia’s representation at this year’s ceremony, which also features other Colombian artists among the nominees. Karol G, Feid, Fonseca, J Balvin and Ryan Castro are among the Colombian names drawing attention in this year’s competition, although their nominations do not mean they have been confirmed to perform during the ceremony.
This distinction is important because the list of nominees and the lineup of live performers are announced separately. The Academy may confirm additional performers as the awards ceremony approaches, but for now, Juanes is among the Colombian artists officially included in the group scheduled to take the stage.
