Planning to buy the iPhone 18 Pro on installments in Pakistan? MCB, Bank Alfalah, and Faysal Bank have promoted different financing options, but their monthly payments, tenures, and charges are not directly comparable. A longer plan can bring the monthly bill down while increasing the total amount you ultimately pay.
Here’s what the publicly advertised offers actually say, and how to work out which one is cheaper before making a purchase.
iPhone 18 Pro Installment Plans: MCB vs Alfalah vs Faysal Bank
| Bank | Advertised offer | What buyers should verify |
|---|---|---|
| MCB | 0% markup up to 36 months; no processing fee on eligible plans up to 30 months | Phone price, qualifying tenure, any 36-month fees, and credit-card eligibility |
| Bank Alfalah / AlfaMall | Eligible credit-card installments generally range from 3 to 36 months, with charges varying by listing and tenure | Exact iPhone listing, selling price, processing fee, markup, and checkout total |
| Faysal Bank / Digimall | Advertised iPhone 18 Pro for Rs. 20,717 monthly over 60 months | Full repayment schedule, upfront contribution, charges, and eligible model |
Important: These are advertised terms, not final bank quotations for the identical handset. Offers and availability can change.
1. MCB: 0% Markup for Up to 36 Months
MCB’s iPhone 18 Pro series promotion, offered with GNext, advertises 0% markup installments for eligible credit card customers for up to 36 months. The promotion also states that no processing fee applies to qualifying installment plans of up to 30 months; that fee waiver should not automatically be assumed for the 36-month plan. The advertised offer runs until October 31, 2026, subject to terms and availability.
Buyers may also receive Shield+ protection benefits, including specified extended warranty and repair coverage. Read the exact coverage conditions before treating these extras as equivalent to cash savings.
At a purely illustrative retail price of Rs. 563,999, dividing the purchase price into 30 equal installments with zero additional charges would give approximately Rs. 18,800 per month. This is a calculation, not an MCB quotation; the actual transaction price and applicable charges determine the real payment.

2. Bank Alfalah: Compare the AlfaMall Checkout Cost
AlfaMall offers eligible credit-card customers installment options that may span 3, 6, 9, 12, 24 or 36 months. However, its charges depend on the particular product and selected plan. A 0% markup label does not necessarily mean the plan has no processing costs.
Under AlfaMall’s published terms, the card’s available limit is blocked by an amount equal to the product price, even though the customer pays monthly installments. Its terms also mention processing fees and applicable FED. As of July 1, 2026, the platform discloses a minimum processing fee of 2.5% or Rs. 1,500, whichever is higher, plus FED, subject to the relevant plan and bank terms.
Importantly, AlfaMall’s PTA approval service for the iPhone 18 Pro is separate from buying the handset itself. Readers should not compare a PTA-tax-only installment with the full-price phone offers from the other banks.
For an accurate comparison, open the actual AlfaMall iPhone 18 Pro listing and record the identical storage variant, selling price, installments, one-time charges and total payable. See AlfaMall’s terms and conditions.
3. Faysal Bank: Rs. 20,717 Monthly for 60 Months
Faysal Digimall has advertised the iPhone 18 Pro at Rs. 20,717 per month for 60 months. That is a five-year commitment, considerably longer than the other offers discussed here. A published offer also describes a two-year warranty and Mercantile protection benefits, subject to terms.
The arithmetic is worth checking: Rs. 20,717 × 60 = Rs. 1,243,020 in scheduled monthly payments. This is not necessarily the all-in payable amount: any upfront payment, processing charge or other amount must be added, and the advertised arrangement’s financing terms should be confirmed with the bank. The difference from a current cash price cannot automatically be labelled ‘interest’ because the public promotion does not explain every component.
See PhoneWorld’s Faysal Bank report and Faysal Digimall.
Which iPhone 18 Pro Installment Plan Is Actually Cheaper?
Based on the advertised conditions, MCB’s qualifying zero-markup and zero-processing-fee plans appear to have the clearest potential for a lower total financing cost. But an exact winner between MCB, AlfaMall, and Faysal Bank cannot honestly be declared without current, itemized quotes for the same iPhone 18 Pro storage variant and condition.
Faysal Bank’s longer tenure can make payments more manageable for some buyers, but its 60 scheduled payments add up to a significant commitment. Bank Alfalah’s flexibility may suit existing eligible cardholders, though its actual costs depend on the chosen AlfaMall listing.
How to Compare the Three Plans Before Buying
- Choose one identical model and storage capacity, for example, the PTA-approved iPhone 18 Pro 256GB.
- Ask each provider for its current cash or financed selling price.
- Record any down payment, processing fee, FED, markup, taxes, and other mandatory charges.
- Multiply each monthly installment by the number of months, then add all upfront and one-time charges.
- Check credit card limit requirements, cancellation rules, warranty and protection exclusions.
Total payable = upfront payment + (monthly installment × number of months) + one-time mandatory charges. If a charge is already included in the monthly installment, do not add it twice.
Final Thoughts
For Pakistanis considering the iPhone 18 Pro on installments, the most attractive-looking monthly payment is not automatically the cheapest deal. MCB’s promotional fee waiver may offer meaningful savings on eligible tenures; AlfaMall gives cardholders multiple repayment choices; and Faysal Digimall’s five-year option spreads payments over a longer period.
Before paying, request written confirmation of the total amount payable for the exact PTA-approved device you want. That is the fairest way to decide which bank is cheaper.
