According to a security source, officers from the Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh Police Station apprehended the woman while she was allegedly placing the cigarette at a designated location for collection by a drug user. Investigations reportedly indicated that the woman had repeatedly taken children with her when visiting public squares and other locations where suspected narcotics were left for collection.
The source, said the children’s presence was allegedly intended to help her avoid attracting the attention of law enforcement officers. Following her arrest, police searched the woman’s residence and reportedly found cigarettes suspected of containing narcotics that were allegedly prepared for sale. The items were seized and referred for the necessary procedures.
