North Macedonia’s Ambassador, Paolo Palminteri, Meets with Minister for Roma Affairs

(ANSA) - SKOPJE, 23 OTT - Today, Ambassador Paolo Palminteri, together with Deputy Chief of Mission Moreno Zella, met with Erdjan Demir, the minister responsible for implementing the 2022–2030 National Strategy for Roma Inclusion. During the meeting, Minister Demir outlined the main objectives achieved so far in coordination with other government ministries to promote social cohesion, access to education and public health care, and equal rights for the Roma community in North Macedonia. They also discussed the development of upcoming projects under the Strategy, exploring potential areas of collaboration with Italy, particularly regarding the exchange of best practices in the field of social inclusion.
