On October 15th, Moon Heejun, leader of H.O.T., who is celebrating their 30th anniversary since debut, appeared as a guest on the third episode of the T-cast E Channel variety show Seo In Young’s Trend Boomer.
Seo In Young expressed her special affection by saying she was a fan of Moon Heejun. Along with Seo In Young and Mimiminu, Moon Heejun discussed the different ways each generation of idols has worked and changes in K-pop trends, sharing lively conversations.
On the show, Moon Heejun revealed he is currently discussing a full-group performance to celebrate H.O.T.’s 30th debut anniversary. He drew interest by saying that they have been “in talks for 11 months” about the commemorative concert. With the year almost over, many were curious if the concert would actually happen.
Toward the end of the broadcast, Moon Heejun advised junior idols to manage their money themselves. He explained that even if they earn a large income at a young age, without economic sense, they can face difficulties due to excessive spending and debt.
He especially noted, “Since parents are also new to being parents of stars, they may get swept up in momentary greed,” and shared his view that “It’s better to manage your own money and give your parents an allowance.”
