The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, and key stakeholders in the Rainbow Coalition on Sunday met at the private residence of Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, in Port Harcourt.
Wike’s media aide, Lere Olayinka, disclosed this in a post on his Facebook page.
According to Olayinka, the meeting was part of activities ahead of the forthcoming January and February elections.
DAILY POST reports that Wike, a former governor of Rivers State, has been meeting with political stakeholders in the state ahead of the elections.
The Rainbow Coalition is a multi-party political group formed to support President Bola Tinubu’s re-election.
Wike had earlier disclosed in an interview that Fubara was committed to supporting Tinubu’s re-election, as well as the electoral ambitions of other coalition members contesting various positions.
