In a War of Narratives, Kyiv Post Partners With NewsGuard AI

At Kyiv Post, our mission is to deliver accurate, independent reporting and analysis straight from the heart of Ukraine. In a war shaped by competing narratives and disinformation, that mission has never been more important – or more challenging.

But as technology advances, so do we.

In 2023, NewsGuard, one of the world’s most respected rating systems for news and information websites, listed Kyiv Post among the world’s top providers of reliable journalism and awarded us a perfect rating of 100%.

In 2026, we are becoming the first Ukrainian partner of NewsGuard AI, the system’s new artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot. It aggregates news from 12,000 trusted sources worldwide to provide a clear, unbiased picture of the evolving world around us.

Technology cannot replace journalists’ judgment or on-the-ground knowledge. But tools that help readers assess sources, examine claims, and understand context can help them navigate an endless flood of information, where trustworthy reporting competes with misinformation.

And in the interest of full disclosure, as part of this partnership, Kyiv Post readers are eligible for one month of free access to NewsGuard AI, followed by a 25% discount, bringing the monthly subscription price down from $8 to $6.

At Kyiv Post, we have seen firsthand how AI can be misused to influence narratives and misinform the world. Yet we also recognize its potential to help people make sense of the information surrounding them and evaluate it properly.

In a war where the battle for truth extends far beyond the front lines, we believe readers deserve not just more information, but better ways to judge the reliability of what they are being told.
