Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused the United States of deliberately delaying deliveries of interceptor missiles that NATO countries have already paid for, Axios reported, citing a transcript of a video call between Zelensky and American senators.
According to Zelensky, U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has deliberately withheld approval for deliveries of Patriot interceptors and AIM-9X missiles for NASAMS air defense systems. Kyiv, he said, has almost no American missiles left.

He also reiterated that Ukraine failed on three occasions over the past week to receive U.S. warnings about Russian ballistic missile strikes, and that the American satellite systems Starlink and its military version, Starshield, have been partially restricted.
Axios reported that representatives of both parties took part in the meeting with Zelensky. Republican Senator Thom Tillis said Congress “remains committed to standing with Ukraine and our European allies to end Russia’s brutal aggression and secure lasting peace.”
Democrat Richard Blumenthal also stressed that “bipartisan support for Ukraine was clear and unequivocal,” He assured that senators would express it through their “upcoming action.”
