HERE are the Bradford City player ratings from Saturday’s League One home game against Stevenage at Valley Parade.
McCracken: Made an early save, but untroubled for rest of the first half. One slight rick in possession. 6
Pennington: Steady away as he virtually always is. 7
Baldwin: Hands full with veteran Magennis. Stayed strong. 7
Pratt: Sprayed out some decent crossfield passes. Orderly once again. 7
Jackson: Saw plenty of the ball. Lots of intent and energy, if not quite the end product. 6
Sarcevic: Not at his vintage best. But you can’t keep him down. Did the necessary from 12 yards. 6
Connolly: Did what he does, although set-plays weren’t great. 6
Touray: Saw a header fly wide in the first half. See the previous set-piece point. Diligent in defence. 6
Phillips: Involved a fair bit in spells of first half. Unlucky when his shot hit Pointon. 6
Pointon: One or two moments. Fired a decent chance wide. 6
Beesley: Had to do the hard yards and slug it out with Piergianni and co. 6
Substitutes: O’Keeffe (Jackson 57) 6.
Powell (Beesley 57). Helped change the narrative. 7
Humphrys (Pointon 65). Made a difference. 7
