News Corp turns on CPAC
Michael Miller, the executive chair of News Corp Australia, has recently taken to being more opinionated on every executive’s favourite social media network: LinkedIn.
Yesterday, Miller described the recent stunt at conservative conference CPAC, where journalists in attendance were forced to wear humiliating “Fake News” lanyards, as “an attempt to intimidate”.
“Reporters aren’t there for red carpets or soft questions. They are there to hold power to account.”

It’d be difficult to find any journalist in Australia who disagrees with Miller’s point.
