Another Denver Nuggets game, another out-of-this-world pass from Nikola Jokic. In their preseason final against the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday, the Nuggets superstar made what could very well be the pass of the preseason as he hit rookie Trevon Brazile with a cheeky behind-the-back pass all the way from midcourt.

As Jamal Murray passed the ball up to Jokic, the Nuggets superstar saw a Lakers player attempt to steal the ball. So he had the presence of mind to throw a behind-the-back pass to Trevon Brazile, who was already in front of the basket. The rookie then had the easy task of throwing the ball down with a reverse dunk.
The Nuggets came into the finale against the Lakers 2-2 in the preseason. Jokic has not had much playing time, going above 20 minutes in just one game. That was against the Chicago Bulls, where he had a typical triple-double of 22 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists to lead the Nuggets to a 133-128 win.
Meanwhile, Trevon Brazile has gotten his fair share of burn in the preseason. But after some quiet performances, the second-round pick out of Arkansas finally broke out with a team-high 22 points in 25 minutes in their 122-110 loss against the Los Angeles Clippers.
It remains to be seen whether Brazile will be getting quite as much playing time during the regular season. But with Julian Strawther set to miss significant time with a knee injury and Aaron Gordon a constant injury concern, the Nuggets will need all the healthy bodies they can get.
