The San Francisco 49ers had plenty to celebrate after defeating the Seattle Seahawks 32-29 on Sunday, extending their unbeaten start to the season against the defending Super Bowl champions.
However, the victory also sparked an unexpected exchange involving Kristin Juszczyk, who challenged a reporter's comments about her husband, veteran fullback Kyle Juszczyk.

Kyle missed the game with a knee injury, but San Francisco's ability to win without him prompted 49ers reporter Grant Cohn to question his importance to the offense.
Responding to praise from ESPN analyst Mina Kimes, Cohn posted a sarcastic message on X that immediately caught Kristin's attention.
"Without Juszczyk?? Impossible," Cohn wrote.
Kristin responded with a remark that combined humor with a clear message about the continued attention surrounding her husband.
"Grant how about you stop being obsessed with my husband. That's my job," she wrote.

The exchange followed an impressive victory for head coach Kyle Shanahan, whose team overcame several significant absences to maintain its perfect record.
Juszczyk suffered a hyperextended knee and bone bruise during San Francisco's previous 24-14 victory over the Denver Broncos, forcing him to miss the divisional matchup against Seattle.
The veteran is expected to be sidelined for approximately two to three games, although his return will depend on how quickly his knee responds to treatment.
San Francisco also entered Sunday's contest without several other injured players, including Nick Bosa, Marques Sigle and James Thompson Jr., making the result particularly significant.
Despite the absences, the 49ers found enough offensive production to secure another victory, although that doesn't necessarily diminish Juszczyk's importance to Shanahan's system.
Kyle Juszczyk a key part of San Francisco offense
Juszczyk has established himself as one of the NFL's most accomplished fullbacks since joining the 49ers in 2017 after beginning his career with the Baltimore Ravens.
The two-time All-Pro signed a two-year, $8 million extension in March 2025, keeping him with an organization that has frequently relied on his versatility.
Through four appearances this season, Juszczyk has recorded 55 receiving yards on four receptions and scored one touchdown.
His campaign has also featured an unusual disagreement with the NFL over a celebration following his touchdown against the Miami Dolphins.
The league initially fined him $14,926 after interpreting his celebration as pretending to drink beer, but the punishment was rescinded following an appeal.
Juszczyk explained that he had actually been pretending to drink from a juice box, prompting the league to withdraw the fine.
49ers turn attention toward Washington matchup
San Francisco will next face the Washington Commanders on October 19, with Juszczyk's recovery among the injury situations being monitored before the game.
Meanwhile, Kristin's response demonstrated her willingness to defend her husband when questions arise about his value to the team.
The couple began dating in 2014 and married in 2019, with Kristin becoming a prominent figure in her own right through her work in fashion.
Her latest exchange with Cohn was brief, but the message was unmistakable: she wasn't interested in seeing her husband's absence used to undermine his contribution to the 49ers.
