We're getting towards the end of the 2026 U23 World Championships in Las Vegas, Nevada, and we're bringing you live updates of the penultimate round of medal matches.
We'll find out who brings home hardware at 61, 74, 86, 92 & 125kg. Representing Team USA will be Ben Davino and Jayden James, who are both going for gold, at 61 and 74kg, respectively. Additionally, Coby Merrill is currently in repechage at 125kg, and is thus still alive for bronze.
Unfortunately for the Red, White & Blue, Aeoden Sinclair at 86 and Seth Shumate at 92kg were eliminated from medal contention yesterday.
And once we start blogging the medal round, we'll have also completed the last set of prelim matches of the tournaments, and we'll know which (if not all) of America's final five men's freestylers are still alive.
