Tripadvisor recently revealed its list of the Best Fine Dining Restaurants in Canada as part of its Travelers’ Choice Awards, and a number of great restaurants have made the list.
“When you’re looking for the crème-de-la-crème, these are the places worth getting on the waiting list for. Think: white tablecloths, best-in-class chefs, and unforgettable bites,” wrote Tripadvisor.
The Tripadvisor Travelers’ Choice Awards aim to celebrate the highest level of excellence in travel. Tripadvisor says that the award is given to those who receive a high volume of above-and-beyond reviews and opinions from the Tripadvisor community over 12 months.
“Out of our eight million listings, fewer than one per cent achieve this milestone,” added Tripadvisor.
Among the list of highly-regarded eateries, the number one spot in Canada was awarded to the Vancouver restaurant Seasons in the Park.
“We are incredibly proud and honoured to be named the #1 Fine Dining Restaurant in Canada in Tripadvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Awards. This recognition means so much to our entire team, and we couldn’t have done it without the incredible support of our guests, our team and everyone who has taken the time to dine with us, share their experience and recommend Seasons in the Park,” wrote the restaurant on its Instagram.

Seasons in the Park is best known for its West Coast cuisine and its view, being located at the peak of Queen Elizabeth Park.
“Thank you for continuing to make us part of your celebrations, special occasions, and everyday moments. We are so grateful and so proud to call Vancouver home,” added the restaurant.
Following Seasons in the Park, Massimo’s Italian Fallsview Restaurant, located in the Sheraton Fallsview Hotel in Niagara Falls, took the second spot due to its stunning views and rave-worthy fresh pasta and veal.
The restaurant is brought to us by celebrity chef Massimo Capra, who has appeared in Food Network shows like Restaurant Makeover, Chopped: Canada, Top Chef Canada, and Wall of Chefs.
Third place was also awarded to a restaurant in Niagara Falls called AG Inspired Cuisine, a romantic dinner destination that features a seasonally inspired menu.
But don’t worry, while B.C. and Ontario dominated most of the list, the rest of Canada got some recognition, too. Here’s the full list of the best fine dining restaurants in Canada from TripAdvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Awards:
