Rain lashes various parts of Madurai

Though there was no heavy wind, Tangedco enginners suspended power supply in a few areas, including Sellur and Arapalayam.

There were heavy traffic jams near Madurai Railway junction, MGR Integrated Bus Stand at Mattuthavani and on Kuruvikaran Salai.

In the suburban areas such as Sholavandan and Thirumangalam, rain lashed halting vehicles on NHAI roads.
