U Mobile’s ULTRA Home 5G Pro Plan Lets Gamers Plug In & Power Up For Next-Gen Gaming

Unlike downloads and video streaming, gaming depends heavily on latency. Even with a fast connection, a delay in communication between your device and the game server can mean the difference between securing the final kill for a clutch 1v4 in Valorant or painfully dropping down a rank tier.

U Mobile's new ULTRA Home 5G Pro is built to give you the best chance of winning by giving your access to the ULTRA5G network, which comes with bleeding-edge features such as being the first 8×8 MIMO 5G-Advanced (5G-A) broadband service in Malaysia, alongside having the nation's first AI-Powered Game Turbo™ technology.

And to kick everything up a notch, you'll also get an ultra-performance Wi-Fi 7 router 5G-A router that's faster and more reliable than nearly every other router on the market.

Picture this: You're in the final circle of PUBG or an intense Mobile Legends team fight, and someone in your home suddenly starts streaming in 4K while another family member kicks off a massive download.

This is usually bad news, but not if you have ULTRA Home 5G Pro, which comes with AI-Powered Game Turbo.

Enabled right out of the box, this feature kicks in when a supported game is in play, it will signal the 5G network to prioritise your game's network traffic to cut down latency for a smoother, lag-free session (you'll see it working when your router's indicator switches from blue to orange).

Supported games include Fortnite, Diablo Immortal, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Overwatch, and many others across PC, console, and mobile devices!

While it won't guarantee a win, it'll make sure your Wi-Fi connection isn't the reason you lost.

While Game Turbo™ helps keep supported games responsive, 8×8 5G-Advanced technology brings the speed behind the entire experience.

As Malaysia's first 8×8 5G-A home broadband, it can support up to eight download data streams simultaneously. With that, it doubles data capacity compared to conventional 4×4 MIMO technology and delivers up to 2x faster speeds. That means less time waiting for massive game downloads and updates, and more speed for livestreaming your gameplay or getting back into action.

Actual speeds may vary depending on network coverage, location, signal conditions, and the number of connected devices.

Bringing high-speed 5G into your home is only half the battle, as it still needs to actually reach the devices you use every day.

This is where Malaysia's first Ultra-Performance Wi-Fi 7 5G-A Router comes in.

Powered by a 40-antenna 5G system, dedicated 9-antenna Wi-Fi 7 Tri-Band with Multi-Link Operation (MLO), 5G-Advanced 8×8 MIMO technology.

Built to unlock the full potential of 5G-Advanced and Wi-Fi, deliver ultra-stable, high-speed coverage across larger living spaces, it keeps your gaming setup locked in even when everyone else in the house is streaming, working, or scrolling at the same time*.

*Actual performance depends on factors such as the home's layout, signal strength, and whether the connected devices support the relevant Wi-Fi technology.

With ULTRA Home 5G Pro, there's no drilling, complicated installation, or waiting for a fibre appointment — your connection will run seamlessly thanks to the accompanying plug-and-play router that connects wirelessly to the ULTRA5G network.

The full ULTRA Home 5G Pro offering, including 8×8 MIMO and Game Turbo, is focused within ULTRA5G coverage areas in Peninsular Malaysia.

From intense online matches and massive game downloads to 4K streaming and everyday browsing, ULTRA Home 5G Pro is engineered for gaming but powerful enough for the entire household.

If you didn't know, the ULTRA5G network was crowned Malaysia top 5G network by independent network intelligence companies Ookla and Opensignal.

Accolades include 'Malaysia's Best Mobile Network' and 'Malaysia's Fastest 5G Network' titles by Ookla, as well as coming out on top for consistent quality, download/upload speeds, and 5G availability, according to Opensignal.

At just RM98/month, you'll get up to 2x faster speeds, a 2,000GB high-speed FUP quota and an Ultra-Performance Wi-Fi 7 5G-A Router worth RM1,200, all without requiring fibre installation.
