Juventus’ defeat against Lazio has exposed the problems affecting the Bianconeri, with their opponents highlighting how vulnerable the team can be. The result has raised fresh concerns about their condition and their ability to compete consistently among Serie A’s strongest sides.
Juve have been inconsistent this season, but their performances in recent weeks had suggested they were improving. That progress had encouraged expectations of a stronger display, yet they failed to deliver when Lazio arrived, appearing more concerned with avoiding defeat before ultimately losing convincingly.
Juventus fail to respond at home
Whatever the perspective, the result was a serious disappointment for a club of Juventus’ stature. They are determined to avoid repeating last season’s failure to finish in the top four, but achieving that goal will require better performances and more victories.
There had been some encouragement in the second half of their match against Celta Vigo, when Juventus showed signs of improvement. Against Lazio, however, they failed to build on that display, producing a performance in which they neither won nor scored. Failing to find the net at home will only increase frustration among supporters.

Oreggia criticises the Bianconeri
The defeat has prompted a blunt assessment from Vittorio Oreggia, who watched the match and believes the problems extend across the club, from its leadership to the players. His comments underline the growing criticism surrounding Juventus after another disappointing result.
Speaking via Tuttojuve, Oreggia said:
“Juventus borders on the ridiculous, from the club for the transfer he made to the coach to the players. Two defeats in seven games, 8 points behind the first, also overtaken by Frosinone. Embarrassing.”
The criticism reflects the pressure on Juventus to turn their season around before the gap to the teams above them becomes more difficult to close. Their recent improvement had offered hope, but the loss to Lazio has exposed familiar weaknesses once again.
Juve must now respond with greater consistency and a more convincing attacking display. If they are to secure a top four finish, they cannot afford to keep dropping points in matches where they are expected to compete for victory.
