UP Police Constable Final Result 2026 Out: Check Category-Wise Cutoffs and Merit List

The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has announced the final results of the UP Police Constable Recruitment Examination 2026, allowing candidates to check their selection status and merit position through the board’s official website, uppbpb.gov.in. The recruitment process aims to fill 32,679 vacancies across the state police force and correctional services, covering several categories, including Constable Citizen Police, Provincial Armed Constabulary (PAC), Special Security Force, the Women Battalion, Mounted Police and Jail Warders. The recruitment drive witnessed considerable competition, with more than 28.8 lakh candidates submitting applications for the available positions. Candidates who participated in the selection process can now access the final merit list and verify whether they have qualified for the next stages leading to appointment. Along with the result, the Board has also published the category-wise cutoff marks for different posts.

The recruitment examination was conducted in multiple shifts in June 2026 across all 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh. Following the written examination, candidates shortlisted for subsequent stages underwent document verification, Physical Standard Tests (PST) and qualifying Physical Efficiency Tests (PET). These stages were conducted through August and October as part of the board’s selection procedure. With the declaration of the final result, candidates can check their qualifying status through the merit list published on the official portal. However, the board is scheduled to make individual candidate-wise normalised scorecards available online during the third and fourth weeks of November 2026. Candidates will be able to access their respective scorecards once they are released through the official website.

Candidates can check and download the UP Police Constable final result by visiting the official UPPRPB website at uppbpb.gov.in. On the homepage, they should locate and select the Merit List PDF link to access the result document. Candidates may be required to enter their registration number and date of birth and submit the details to proceed. If the merit list opens directly as a PDF file, candidates can use the Ctrl + F keyboard shortcut on a computer and enter their examination roll number to locate their details quickly. After finding the relevant entry, candidates should carefully verify their selection status and download the merit list or available scorecard for their records.

Candidates whose names appear in the final selection list will still have to complete the prescribed pre-appointment formalities before receiving their appointments. These include a medical examination, verification of educational certificates, character and background checks, and validation of reservation-related claims wherever applicable. The appointment process will proceed subject to the successful completion of these requirements and the verification of the relevant documents.
