The arrest reportedly followed Okorocha’s failure to honour previous police invitations concerning the ongoing investigation.
He was initially invited to the Force Headquarters on September 2, but the meeting was rescheduled to September 8 following a request from his lawyers.
Okorocha, however, reportedly failed to honour the rescheduled appointment, prompting the latest police action.
