Israel has launched a sweeping military operation across the occupied West Bank following a deadly checkpoint shooting near Hebron. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced a lockdown as Israeli forces carried out raids, arrests, and demolitions, forcing Palestinian families to leave their homes. The operation has sparked concern from B'Tselem and United Nations officials over civilian displacement, restrictions on movement and access to essential services.
