Caitlin Clark’s latest NFL appearance caught the attention of more than just Kansas City Chiefs fans. As the Indiana Fever star watched the Chiefs take on the Los Angeles Chargers from Taylor Swift’s suite at Arrowhead Stadium, the WNBA joined the conversation with a two-word greeting.
“Hey Caitlin ????????,” the WNBA posted on X.
The WNBA shared a post from Complex magazine featuring Clark and Swift in the pop star’s private suite, with the two even seen hugging in a video caught by a fan that went viral online.
Swift, who is married to Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, has attended every home game so far and brought along a few friends this time. Clark was also joined by her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, musician Este Haim, Young Man and the Three podcast host Tommy Alter, and Kelce’s mother, Donna. However, Clark wasn’t there solely to support her friend.
Before the game, which kicked off at 4:25 p.m. ET, Clark and Nike had set up a special display for her new Caitlin 1 signature shoe inside the New Heights Tailgate at Arrowhead Stadium. The tailgate was promoting the New Heights podcast, hosted by Travis and his brother Jason Kelce.
The event ran from noon to 4 p.m. ET. In addition to the display featuring Clark’s shoe, attendees also had the opportunity to meet Jason during a meet-and-greet.
Given Clark’s close friendship with Swift, this isn’t the first time the Fever star has been seen at a Chiefs game.
Following Clark’s appearance at Swift’s Eras Tour in Indianapolis in 2024, Swift invited the point guard to join her in the suite for a Chiefs game, a team Clark has been a fan of since she was a child. Her first appearance at Arrowhead’s suite was during the team’s playoff game against the Houston Texans in the AFC Divisional Round in January 2025.
Then, about a year ago, in October 2025, Clark was spotted joining Swift during a regular-season game against the Detroit Lions, which marked the popstar’s first Chiefs game attended since she got engaged to Kelce.
During the most recent appearance by Clark, the Chiefs continued their winning ways, beating the Chargers 22-6 to improve to 5-0 and continue their undefeated streak, despite an early injury scare for Kelce, who exited briefly before returning to the game.
What makes Swift’s appearance at the game notable is that less than 24 hours ago, she had performed at the Academy Music Gala in Los Angeles before making the trip to Kansas City for her husband’s game.
Regardless, Clark’s crossover appeal has drawn attention beyond basketball, and another Arrowhead appearance next to Swift has quickly made the WNBA part of a Chiefs Monday conversation.
