Nate Landman went on the injury report this week and now he’s officially out. It’s another blow to the Rams who seem to have their 2026 season falling apart. As the injuries and losses mount up, how can this team stay positive?
A win on Sunday would go a long way, but with all the injuries, a win may be a long shot. Puka Nacua’s status is up in the air.
It was no sure thing that the Rams would play the playoffs this year, but it seems very likely, and now? It seems like a stretch as L.A. seems more likely to fall to 2-5 than 3-4.
Injury Report, Week 7 at Raiders: Puka Nacua and Trent McDuffie questionable, Nate Landman ruled out (therams)
“Nacua left Thursday’s practice early with the aforementioned calf injury. Head coach Sean McVay on Friday said Nacua “took part in a majority of the practice, left, (and then) got it checked out.” McVay also said that “I don’t think he (Nacua) knows exactly when it occurred.”
However, McVay did characterize the injury as “minor.”
“You look at it, and there’s just a little minor thing in there, and felt it where he wasn’t able to have some of the power and full explosion, and just kind of noticed it,” McVay said. “But I don’t think he was aware of any sort of specific play that led to it.”
Cornerback Trent McDuffie (groin) is also listed as questionable. McDuffie did not practice all week.
Meanwhile, inside linebacker Nate Landman (concussion) was ruled out, but is “making good progress,” McVay said. With Landman out, McVay confirmed Los Angeles will elevate inside linebacker Eric Kendricks from the practice squad.“
Puka Nacua, Trent McDuffie questionable, Nate Landman ruled out for Week 7 (nbcsports)
“McDuffie has registered seven passes defensed with an interception.
The Rams will be without linebacker Nate Landman (concussion) on Sunday, as he’s been ruled out. The team will elevate veteran linebacker Eric Kendricks from the practice squad to play in the game.“
Latest updates on Rams WR Puka Nacua’s calf injury (ramswire)
“Already without Davante Adams for the next 6-10 weeks, losing Nacua for any amount of time will be a huge blow to the Rams offense. Terrance Ferguson is also on IR with an ankle injury, while the defense has lost plenty of playmakers, too.
All eyes will be on Nacua’s status heading into Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders, as the Rams attempt to snap a two-game losing streak and avoid a dreaded 2-5 start to the season. We’ll be providing the latest updates on Nacua’s status below.“
Raiders vs. Rams Betting Pick: Back the Home Underdog (sp0rtsgrid)
“The 2-4 Los Angeles Rams visit a Las Vegas Raiders team that has been a bettor’s delight. The Raiders covered against the Buffalo Bills last week after entering as 4.5-point underdogs. They trailed by 10 before scoring a late touchdown and losing by three.
The Rams continue to receive public backing because bettors cannot believe the team is this bad. However, approximately 75% of the money is on the Raiders, with no significant action of note. The line moved from 5.5 to four.
With Las Vegas at home and getting more than a field goal, the Raiders are again an appealing underdog. Things have been going well for them against the number, making the Raiders and the extra half-point the preferred side.“
Battered and Bruised: Los Angeles Rams vs Las Vegas Raiders – Week 7 Preview (lastwordonsports)
“Rams head coach Sean McVay knows that the Raiders are a good team despite losing three consecutive games.
“(Raiders head coach Klint) Kubiak’s done a great job. They’re really well coached in all three phases. They’ve been productive in all three phases. They made some big free agent signings on the defensive side of the ball. They got a bunch of different playmakers,” McVay said.“
Raiders final Week 7 injury report vs Rams: Puka Nacua status in doubt (sports.yahoo)
“Also Questionable is former All Pro CB Trent McDuffie after missing practice all week. Already ruled OUT for the Rams is LB Nate Landman. So, yeah, the Rams are banged up to say the least.
The Raiders aren’t without an injury question. RB Mike Washington Jr missed the last two practices with foot and back injuries and is officially Questionable. And the team is keeping WR Dont’e Thornton and TE Carter Runyon on injured reserve for another week.“
The Rams were Super Bowl favorites. Now they’re fighting a 30-year curse (sports.yahoo)
“It happens every year. A team lights the NFL world on fire with Super Bowl hope and expectation in the preseason, only to flop and fall short of a Lombardi once the season begins. And by “it happens every year,” we literally mean it happens every year.
The Los Angeles Rams entered the 2026 season as +500 — that is, 5-1 — Super Bowl favorites. You know what’s happened since — the Rams are currently 2-4, victims of injury and curiously bad performances. A Super Bowl is still very much in play, but if Los Angeles ends up failing to win it all, they’ll join an illustrious lineage.“
Commanders, Rams Floated in Intriguing Stefon Diggs Trade Idea (heavy.com)
“If the Commanders lose one or both of those games, then it’s clear that they should be sellers of their veteran players, and one potential player who could be on the move is Stefon Diggs.
Diggs has played 152 pass snaps for the Commanders so far this season, leading to a 70.8 overall PFF grade. The wideout has hauled in 24 receptions on 37 targets for 214 receiving yards and four touchdowns while averaging 8.9 yards per reception and generating 59 yards after the catch, per PFF.“
NFL Week 7 fantasy sleepers: Broncos QB Bo Nix, Jets TE Kenyon Sadiq among sneaky-good options (nfl.com)
“In Week 5, my 10 nominees combined for 68.14 points, making it the worst-performing group of sleepers of the season. Never good to lead readers astray like that.
Last week, my sleeper picks got off the mat and totaled 122.12 fantasy points, which was the highest output of the still-young year. That felt like Thor reclaiming his hammer in Avengers: Endgame.
The moral of the story is that booms and busts are part of the fantasy experience — for the likes of us writers, too. As we approach the halfway mark of fantasy regular seasons, finding those booms in the unlikeliest of places is my top imperative. No one is a fantasy-playoff lock yet, and the season is far from over, so let’s keep the positive momentum going.“
The Saints could be a nightmare matchup for Aaron Rodgers | NFL Pro (nfl.com)
“Trevor Sikkema breaks down the Saints 5-star matchup over Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers offense in the quick passing game.”
Comment of the day:
“#3-This has to be the most insane take yet…
The Cardinals Were ranked dead LAST in every statistical category of the League and yet they still managed to control the clock because our defense couldn’t stop them on 3rd downs. This was with Poona, Turner, in the rotations, what makes you think Davis, Fiske, Hamilton ( this guy is a joke and still wonder why he’s on the roster ) are going to stop Cousins and Jeanty? Please tell me when was the last time they sacked the QB? This DL have been getting blown off the LOS late in gms by every team we faced soo far and it’s the absolute truth.
Raiders 35
Rams 18.“-MestizoLA
