Denver Broncos running back JK Dobbins entered Thursday sounding elated about his play caller. Dobbins became more energized for coach Sean Payton calling the plays again. Envisioning he would be fed the football against the Seattle Seahawks for TNF.
Sure enough, Dobbins rose as a focal point for Denver’s offense.
Payton turned to the veteran while near the goal line and down 3-0. Dobbins located a hole up the right and tacked on six points to put the Broncos ahead.

Dobbins racked up 35 rushing yards on 10 carries before halftime arrived, averaging 3.5 yards per carry. He’s sitting at 229 rushing yards through the first five games of Denver’s season including scoring once.
The 27-year-old tallied 68 rushing yards on 18 carries with one touchdown on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers. And that outing kept the Bolts winless at now 0-5 overall.
Denver wasn’t through pouring it on against the defending Super Bowl champs. Payton stayed with the ground game in the attempt to wear down Seattle immediately. RJ Harvey punched in one more rushing touchdown from inside the five-yard line, elevating the lead to 14-3. Harvey scored his with 5:15 left in the second quarter.
The Broncos surpassed 50 rushing yards before the five-minute mark of the second. Denver also sat at 74 passing yards before halftime arrived. The AFC West franchise also scored both of their touchdowns before both teams retreated inside their locker rooms.
Seattle and Denver entered this contest at 3-2 overall. But the Broncos and Dobbins surface as the one gashing the Seahawks early in front of the Empower Field crowd.
