This marks the group’s first commercial property.
Aedge Group Limited has acquired a freehold commercial corner-terrace property at 2 Westerhout Road from IPF Investments for a consideration of $7.5m.
The asset, located in District 14 within the Geylang / Eunos precinct, spans a land area of about 297.4 square metres and marks the group’s first commercial property.
“We see longer-term potential to unlock further value from the site, including through redevelopment, subject to the relevant approvals,” said Aedge CEO Poh Soon Ken.
He added that Aedge is also progressing asset enhancement plans for 219 Kallang Bahru to repurpose the building as the group continues to grow and manage its property portfolio.
The acquisition was funded through a combination of internal resources and bank borrowings, Aedge said.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW
Reaching the people who run Asia's businesses is harder than it used to be.
Inboxes are crowded. Attention is short. The executives you most want to reach — the founders, CFOs, and operators who actually move budgets — are the hardest to find through the usual channels. If you're building a company, a category, or a reputation, you already know this.
We've spent twenty years building the room they read. Singapore Business Review is where senior decision makers in Singapore and across Southeast Asia come for business coverage they can't get elsewhere — in print, online, and in person at the summits and roundtables we host across seven markets.
If you have something these readers should know about — a point of view worth publishing, a product worth their attention, an event worth their time — we'd like to hear what you're trying to do.
