Beyond his religious responsibilities, the newly turbaned Amirul Mu’mineen has demonstrated a strong commitment to the development and welfare of his community. His contributions earned him the confidence of community leaders and residents.
He served as the treasurer of the Ofiki community for two consecutive terms, a position in which he was recognised for his honesty, transparency and dedication to public service. His record of service also earned him recognition during the reign of the late Oba Sunday Adeoye Tella III, the Oloto of Ofiki.
