MYAGDI, Oct 18: The 220 kV Dana-Khurkot transmission line under the Kaligandaki Corridor has resumed operation after a flood damaged three transmission towers in Myagdi, disconnecting 176 MW of electricity generated by seven hydropower projects in Myagdi and Mustang from the national grid.
Roshan Khadka, head of the Nepal Electricity Authority’s Gandaki Province Grid Branch, said the line was energized at 10:30 pm on Saturday after workers installed wires using a temporary tower built with Canadian technology.
