Pros
- Superb damage protection
- The built-in metal stand is superb
- The transparent version won't lose clarity over time
Cons
- Limited color selection
I recommend the Zagg Crystal Palace iPhone Duo case to most buyers because it provides solid protection and a clear finish that highlights your chosen iPhone color. It also features a metal kickstand, making it easy to view content on both iPhone Duo screens in portrait or landscape mode.
Made using graphene—a lightweight material that’s elastic yet stronger than steel—the snap-on case reliably shields the Duo from damage if you accidentally drop it, whether folded or unfolded. Its hinge cover was instrumental in making it my top choice on this list, and so was Zagg’s lifetime replacement guarantee.
If you like the accessory’s design and features but prefer a more low-key look, I have good news: The Zagg Sedona iPhone Duo case is just as reliable and versatile, but it’s available only in black.
Pros
- Excellent damage protection for its price
- Available in two distinct finishes
- Slim profile
Cons
- Needs more colors like the rest of Spigen’s case lineup
The Spigen Ultra Hybrid Pro case is the best way to keep the pricey iPhone Duo damage-free without overspending. For under $50, the accessory offers a slim profile and good drop protection thanks to corners designed to absorb impact. It also features a cover for the Duo’s titanium hinge, unlike many pricier cases.
I like that Spigen offers the Ultra Hybrid Pro case in two distinctive finishes: black with a semi-translucent finish and a fully clear option. I prefer the former (pictured here) because it resists smudges better. The brand also offers a solid black option for $5 less.

Pros
- Perfect fit and slim profile
- Button covers with excellent tactility
- Available in iPhone Duo-matching colors
Cons
- Doesn’t cover the hinge when the phone is closed
Apple’s official iPhone Duo case is predictably a stellar option for safeguarding the foldable device. It has a slim profile and a pleasantly understated design in two solid colors that match the iPhone Duo. Being an original Apple product, the accessory also rocks the tech giant’s iconic logo on the back.
The case’s polycarbonate shell has a matte finish that improves grip on the iPhone Duo. Because it lacks a dedicated hinge cover and leaves the hardware fully exposed when the iPhone Duo is folded, I’d be more careful about dropping the device than with bulkier cases.
Pros
- Outstanding damage protection all around
- Textured grip improved the Duo’s handling
- Infinitely customizable via skins
Cons
- Could use a viewing stand
For damage protection, drop resistance, and overall ergonomics, the dbrand Grip iPhone Duo case stands apart. Designed to meet military-grade impact-resistance standards, the accessory also includes dedicated hinge and camera-bump covers that protect every crucial contact point on the iPhone Duo in a drop. Its hinge cover lacks tiny metal bits found on some other cases, so it’s less likely to malfunction over time.
Better yet, the case has a grippy texture all around, which greatly reduces the chance of the device slipping out of your hand. The finish is surprisingly smudge-resistant, too.
To top things off, the Grip case is endlessly customizable via a vast array of colorful adhesive skins dbrand is known for. Those range from low-key to super flashy.

Pros
- TechWoven material has excellent tacility
- Seamless installation that doesn’t require adhesive strips
- Built-in viewing stand
Cons
- Magnetic-only attachment isn’t as secure as that of a snap-on case
Another original Apple accessory, this iPhone Duo folio is my favorite option with an integrated cover for the device’s external display. It attaches magnetically to the phone and, when unfolded, covers the entire back like an iPad case. Its built-in retractable stand is perfect for these use cases. When the Duo’s big screen is folded, the accessory becomes a standard folio cover (hence the name), which protects the display hinge when closed.
It is made from TechWoven—a recycled polyester with a pleasant, fabric-like feel—in navy blue or taupe. It doesn’t cover the Duo’s titanium frame, so interacting with the device feels better than with any snap-on case. However, I wouldn’t trust it, or any other case that attaches to the Duo only via magnets, in a heavy drop.
Pros
- Slim and lightweight
- Aramid fiber has a decidedly high-tech look
- Soft-touch finish improves the device's handling
Cons
- Doesn’t cover the hinge when closed
If you want minimalist protection for your iPhone Duo, this is it. As its name suggests, this Mous case is the thinnest and lightest on this list. At less than a millimeter thick (the only thicker part is the ring that guards the device’s dual camera bump), the snap-on cover is more pocket-friendly than any competitor while remaining fully compatible with MagSafe accessories. But keep in mind that this minimalism means less shock absorption than a conventional snap-on case, and it has no hinge cover.
The aramid fiber used to make the case combines a high-tech look and nice tactility with surprising strength, despite its thinness. The material is also used in the aerospace industry, making it particularly appealing to avid gearheads.
