A viral rumour on social media claims that Caitlin Clark sent a letter to Angel Reese before the 2026 WNBA Finals.
Angel Reese and the Atlanta Dream didn’t have the best of starts to the 2026 WNBA Finals, as they were handed a 68-64 defeat by the Golden State Valkyries in Game 1.

Once again X handle ‘Fever Update’ has spread this misinformation, attempting to spark a fight between Clark and Reese’s fanbases.
The X handle claimed that Clark sent Reese a letter about how proud she was of the Dream star for fulfilling her ambition of playing in the WNBA Finals.
The post tried to convince fans by using a fake screenshot from Reese’s Instagram handle. After all, Reese has posted no such story on her IG account.
So, as usual, the X handle’s claim is false and an attempt to spread misinformation about two of the biggest stars in the WNBA.
