Top British actress Michelle Keegan reportedly wants to leave the UK after police shelved the investigation into her Essex home burglary. A source told Closer the actress feels safer travelling with her husband, Mark Wright, and their young daughter, Palma.
Michelle Keegan and her husband have a long-standing and well-documented connection to Mallorca. The couple owns a holiday apartment in Magalluf and after announcing their pregnancy with photos taken on the island, they named their baby daughter Palma Elizabeth Wright (born March 12, 2025) in honor of their love for Mallorca.
And they spent their first family holiday in Mallorca since welcoming their baby daughter, Palma, earlier last year. The couple own a home on the island, a property in Magalluf that was transformed with the help of British Mallorca businesswoman and interior designer Justine Knox.
They regularly return to the island for family holidays, romantic getaways, and girls' trips (including a recent visit to Valldemossa in July 2026) and Keegan has also been spotted connected to local regional film initiatives such as the "Calvià, Film Set" project.
According to Closer, the police update has reportedly left her unsettled at the couple’s £3.5 million mansion, despite years spent creating their dream home. However, getting away would mean balancing two busy work diaries.
Mark co-presents a Saturday breakfast radio show with Olly Murs, giving him regular commitments in Britain. The source says those commitments make him less free to travel than Michelle. Michelle, best known for her acting roles in Coronation Street, Our Girl and the recent Netflix hit Fool Me Once, has built a reputation as one of Britain’s most successful TV actresses.
She was featured on the cover of FHM magazine in January 2011 and placed at number 30 and number 26 in their 100 Sexiest Women poll for 2010 and 2011, respectively. She appeared on their cover again in March 2013 and was placed at number four in the 2013 poll, eventually winning in 2015.
The couple married in 2015 and have often spoken about how, despite busy careers, they make time to prioritise family and travel. Their love of Mallorca has become a central part of that lifestyle, with the island offering them a place to relax, recharge and now create memories with their daughter.
