The FDH Bank Premiership title race is set to heat up this weekend, with Blue Eagles aiming to climb to the summit while FCB Nyasa Big Bullets and Mighty Wanderers face crucial tests of their consistency.

Blue Eagles get the weekend underway on Friday when they host Ekhaya FC at Mpira Stadium in Blantyre.
A maximum haul would take the Area 30 outfit to 37 points and put them ahead of both Bullets and Wanderers, depending on how those rivals fare.
Bullets, on 36 points, travel to Civil Service United in Blantyre on Saturday, and anything less than three points could cost them ground in the title race.
Wanderers, who have 35 points, face a tricky away trip to Karonga United on Sunday. The Nomads will need to overcome a side determined to make home advantage count.
Silver Strikers are also refusing to fall away. The Lilongwe-based side, on 32 points, host Kamuzu Barracks at Silver Stadium on Saturday and can move to 35 points with a win.
That would strengthen the Central Bankers’ position among the leading contenders and pile pressure on the sides above them.
At the other end of the table, the battle to stay up is just as tense. Creck Sporting Club welcome Red Lions to Civo Stadium in Lilongwe on Sunday, with both sides eyeing valuable points.
Red Lions also have one eye on a place in the Airtel Top 8, which makes the clash a demanding test for both teams.
MAFCO FC head to Dedza Stadium on Saturday to face LUANAR Mitundu FC, who will be looking to make the most of home advantage.
For MAFCO, the trip is a chance to collect crucial points and ease the pressure of their lower-table position.
With several sides still within reach of the summit and others fighting for survival, every point this weekend could prove decisive.
