A 76-year-old woman has miraculously escaped serious injury after rolling her car in an extraordinarily unfortunate spot.
A Chrysler PT Cruiser crashed into a parked car in along Bay Rd in Mount Gambier shortly before 1.15pm on Monday.
The impact sent to car flipping into the air, landing on its side, sending the second car - a Ford sedan - bumping into a third.

But the crash itself was far from the driver’s only misfortune, as it happened directly outside of the local police station.
Remarkably, the Chrysler driver, who is from Port MacDonnell, escaped the incident with just minor injuries, but was taken to hospital for further treatment.

A 24-year-old Mount Gambier woman who was sitting in the passenger seat of the Ford was treated by paramedics at the scene.
In a statement, South Australia Police said the young woman was left “shaken” by the incident.

Two of the three vehicles, the PT Cruiser and the Ford, were towed from the scene.
No charges have been laid in relation to the crash.
