The former president said he expects his election list to win more than 50 percent of the vote.
Speaking on the pro-regime TV Pink, Vucic urged voters to turn out in large numbers, claiming that turnout above 63 percent would bring his list significantly more votes than its opponents.
"These are decent and frightened people," he said, adding that his ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) was "protecting the homeland" in the elections. "We are literally protecting and preserving this country's statehood. The only thing that matters is that we turn out in as large a number as possible," Vucic said.
He accused his opponents of planning election fraud, saying his side would not allow them to remove ballot bags or voting records or steal a single vote.
Vucic said his side would congratulate its opponents if its polling proved wrong.
He said he would not address the public before 9:30 pm on election night, explaining that he would not be able to say who won before that time.
